Management
David Dodd III - CEO, Owner
David (Dee) has worked at Carolina Pest his entire life and grew up in the company. He has been a licensed operator since 1984. He is a Past President of the North Carolina Pest Control Association, and has been a chairman of the Rules and Regulations Committee since 1990. He founded the Education Foundation for the association, and started a Past President's Scholarship available to employees and their children in the industry. He graduated in 1967 from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Business. All three of his daughters are currently employed by Carolina Pest Management.
Kristin Dodd - President
Kristin has been with us on a full-time basis since April of 2000. Before that, she worked many summers during school as both a technician and in the office. Along with her numerous responsibilities as president, she is also an active board member and the current Vice President for the North Carolina Pest Management Association. She is also a licensed operator in North Carolina. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in the class of 1996 with a BA in Religion. She enjoys cooking and gardening.
Sarah Dodd - Vice President
Sarah has been with Carolina Pest since September of 2001. Aside from being our office manager, she manages our accounts payable, is our Sentricon authorized operator, and handles incoming customer inquiries. She is a certified operator in the state of North Carolina. She graduated from UNC Wilmington in 1999 with a BA in Sociology. What she enjoys most about her job is the people that she works with and learning new things every day. She loves animals and her dog, Mavis.
David Craig - General Manager
David has been a part of our company since December 1985. Before being promoted to manager, he worked as a technician in Charlotte for many years. He is a licensed operator in North Carolina, and is well diversified in all aspects of the company, including pest control, termite control, and sales. He also does all repairs for the company, as well as repair as a side business along with managing rental properties. He likes working at Carolina Pest for the freedom the job allows him, as well as encountering something different every day. During his free time, he enjoys spending time at the beach along with his family.
Phillip Parker - Termite Manager
Phillip has been with Carolina Pest since March of 1988. He is a licensed operator in pest control, is a Certified WDIR Insector, is a certified operator, and also licensed in ornamental turf. Before becoming manager of the termite department, he was a service technician for all service areas. During his free time, he enjoys fishing. The thing that he likes most about his job is his ability to take care of his customers. Office Support Staff
Angie McCord
Angie has been with us since October of 1995. She handles our accounts receivables and customer phone calls. She is also a certified notary in the state of North Carolina. What she enjoys most about her job is the people she works with and the laid-back atmosphere.
Patricia Wagner
Patricia has been with Carolina Pest since November of 2007. She is our head receptionist, and handles customer phone calls and helps manage the scheduling. She graduated from Texas A&M in 1987 with a BA in Modern Language and a minor in Management. She enjoys working at Carolina Pest for the friendly people and flexibility. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Laurie Dettman
Laurie has worked with us since November of 2001. She is our scheduling supervisor, and also handles customer phone calls and mailings. What she enjoys most about her job is talking to customers and the flexibility of the job. She attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. In her free time, she loves to fish, create things on her computer, and she is a huge Nebraska Huskers fan.
Laura Dodd
Laura has worked at Carolina Pest during summers throughout school, and has been a full-time employee since May of 2009. She is our Marketing Manager, and also helps with training, bookkeeping, and website upkeep. She graduated from UNC Wilmington in December 2008 with a BA in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing. She enjoys working with Carolina Pest for the flexibility and family-oriented atmosphere. In her free time, she enjoys networking, meeting new people, and spending time with her pets.
Robert McCain Robert has worked with Carolina Pest since 1994. He became a part-time employee after his retirement as Assistant Superintendent for Union County Schools. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Mathematics and his Masters in Education. During his free time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his 11 grandchildren. Sales Department
Bob Beckham - Sales Manager
Bob has been an integral part of our staff since January of 2005. Aside from being a certified operator in the state of North Carolina, he generates sales through civic and non-profit organizations and networking groups. He attended the University of South Carolina and majored in History. On the weekends, he enjoys sailing and other water sports.
Pest Control Technicians
Chuck Davis
Chuck joined our team in November of 2009. He was the previous owner of Providence Pest Solutions in Charlotte, NC, and has worked for national pest control companies in the Southeast, totalling over 18 years of experience in the industry. He is a licensed pest control operator in the state of North Carolina. Providence Pest Solutions merged with Carolina Pest Management in November of 2009.
Donnie Brown Donnie has been with us since February of 2002. He is a pest control operator in Union County. Donnie is also a certified pest control technician in the state of North Carolina.
Daniel Norwood
Dan has worked with us since January of 2007. He is a technician in the Charlotte area. He is also a certified pest control technician in North Carolina, and is a licensed realtor.
Jeff Prince
Jeff has been with Carolina Pest since July of 2000. He operates in Western Union County. He is a certified pest control technician in the state of North Carolina.
Troy Salsedo
Troy began working with us most recently in May of 2009, but was previously an employee from 2002 to 2005. He is a pest control technician in Monroe and Union County.
Allen Schlappich
Allen has worked with Carolina Pest since November of 2003. He is a technician in Monroe and Union County, and is also a certified pest control technician in North Carolina.
Jerry Simpson
Jerry has been with us since June of 1998. He is a pest control technician and also manages the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System.
Jason Terrell
Jason has been with Carolina Pest since May of 1996. He does pest control in the North Charlotte, Lake Norman, and areas further north. He is a certified pest control technician in the state of North Carolina, is a Certified WDIR Inspector, is a Master Technician through Clemson University, is certified through the American Institute of Bakers, and has his wildlife license.
Scott Williams
Scott has been with us since June of 2003. He is a pest control technician in Monroe and areas east. He is a certified pest control technician in the state of North Carolina.
Brian Carter
Brian joined Carolina Pest in September of 2009. He is a registered technician, and handles pest control and the Sentricon Colony Elimination System for the company. Prior to working with us, he was involved in sales in the Charlotte area.
Termite Technicians
David Craig, Jr. - Termite Department Supervisor
Junior has worked with us since April of 1999. He is a certified pest control technician in the state of North Carolina, is a Certified WDIR Inspector, and is a Master Technician through Clemson University.
Timmy Berry
Timmy has been with the company since August of 2006. He is a technician for termites and wood destroying pests, and also checks and installs the Sentricon Termite Baiting System. He is also a certified technician.
Anthony Blakeney
Anthony has worked with us since April of 2005. He is also a termite and wood destroying pest technician, and also manages the Sentricon Termite Baiting System.
Christopher Craig
Chris has worked with Carolina Pest since April of 2005. He is a termite technician, and also handles wood destroying insects. Rockingham Employees
Jim Register - Rockingham Branch Manager
Jim has been a valuable employee since April of 1996. Aside from being the manager in our Rockingham office, he manages quality control in both branches. He is a certified pest control technician in North Carolina, is a Certified WDIR Inspector, is a Certified Professional Food Manager, and is a certified wildlife agent.
Glennie Dodds
Glennie began working with Carolina Pest Management when we purchased Sandhills Pest Control in 2003. She worked with Sandhills for over 20 years prior to the purchase. She is the Office Manager in our Rockingham branch.
Robert Leviner
Robbie has been with the company since April 2005. He is our head technician out of our Sandhills office. He is a certified pest control technician in the state of North Carolina.
Dale Smith
Dale has worked with Carolina Pest Management since November of 2008, when we purchased Anson Pest Control. He worked with that company for over 15 years before the purchase. He is in charge of termite control out of our Rockingham branch.
Will Ferguson
Will joined our Rockingham branch in September of 2009. He is a registered technician, and does pest control in the Rockingham area. Prior to working with Carolina Pest, he did pest control in the Air Force for 8 years.
